Reaction: WHOA. This is a really cool video. While the music isn't quite my style, the video is superbly done, and even portrays an interesting message about society. What that is, exactly, is for you to figure out.
Song Rating: 8. Sounds better the more you listen to it. Still not my favorite, but I have to give it credit. What it does do, it does well.
Video Rating: 10. Yes, it is that epic.
Overall Rating: 9 Hall of Fame! When I found this video, I knew it  would have to end up in the Hall of Fame.

Anyway, this video is one that I've been holding on to for a while. As a remix/cover of the The Killers' song "All These Things That I have Done", it switches up the lyrics a bit and sends a message against child warfare and other crimes against children in war-torn countries.  Utilizing  a plethora of young talent, the song and its message are both quite strong. While the video itself is nothing special, its made up for the greatness of the song.

Today marks the landmark entry that is NOT a music video! I can hardly believe it either, but sometimes my nerdy love for WoW overcomes even my most deeply rooted traditions. Here it is!

Video of the Day: Cataclysm Cinematic Intro

Reaction: Whoa. I understand that most of the people reading this aren't as into WoW as I am and have absolutely no idea what is going on in this video, but to someone like me, who has reached the level cap and explored the ENTIRE game world, this is one of the coolest things I have seen in a while.
A quick recap: The dragon in the video is Deathwing, who was sleeping underground. Then some goblins started hammering some steel plates into him (or something?) and he got angry and trashed the whole world.
But what really matters is that this video is Blizzard quality, by which I mean the animation is stunning. Really, these guys are quite good at what they choose to do.  Watch this video, and be pretty amazed.

SO. This video is REALLY GOOD. Featuring a huge number of internet memes and viral videos from a few years ago, I imagine it was really quite popular when it was first released. What makes it even better is that the people in the video are all the REAL PEOPLE from their respective videos, coming together to form an amazing conglomeration of Internet-enabled talent.  Both the song and the video are quite good, and if you know all the references in the video then it's time to get off of the Internet and go outside.

Reaction: When I first watched this video, I thought it was pretty cool. Every time I've watched it since then, it's seemed even cooler. This is good stuff here.

 Well then. I stumbled upon this a few days ago when Gorillaz popped up in my iTunes, and lo and behold, they had the next video in their Plastic Beach series! Imagine that. Its a bit late, so I'm going to do this quicker than usual.

Craziness rating: 4/10. This isn't really a very crazy video. 
Reaction: Wow. The artwork is quite nice, and creates an interesting juxtaposition between 3-D and 2-D.  Really quite a nice video and song, and they go well together. 
Song Rating: 8.5. No matter the language, you can't deny the fact that this is a pretty sweet song.

Final Rating: 8.5. Great. Gorillaz art style is really quite nice, and their music is very good as well (Hi Elizabeth!). Do yourself a favor and watch this video.
